As a lifelong camper, I, Adam Cherrington, have always loved spending time in the great outdoors. There’s something about being surrounded by nature that inspires me and helps me think more creatively.

But it wasn’t until I started my own business (affiliate marketing) that I realized just how much camping could fuel innovation in the business world. Here are my personal experiences and a few ways that camping can help you think more creatively and drive innovation in your own business.

This downtime is incredibly valuable, not just for my mental health but also for my affiliate marketing business. When I return to work after a camping trip, I feel refreshed and re-energized. I’m able to approach my work with a clear head, and I often find that I’m more creative and productive as a result.

Another aspect of camping that I’ve come to appreciate is the concept of minimalism. When you’re camping, you have to pack light and only bring the essentials. There’s no room for excess, and you have to be strategic about what you bring.
